Oklahoma’s International Bluegrass Festival has established an endowment fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, made possible through a combination of contributions from the festival and a matching endowment grant from the Kirkpatrick Family Fund (www.kirkpatrickfamilyfund.org).

The purpose of this endowment is to invest funds in a way that will generate a sustainable annual income for the organization, ensuring financial stability for years to come.

The endowment is managed with a conservative policy allocation to minimize risk, offering donors tax-related benefits for their contributions.

“OIBF has taken an important step in securing our future and continuing our mission for generations,” said Kelsey Avants, board member. “Our goal is to raise $2.4 million for the endowment, which will sustain the festival indefinitely. The fund will not only provide a reliable income stream but will also offer an easy way for supporters to contribute in various ways.”
